Fresh & Delicious Bruschetta

May is half way over, and I am counting the minute until I can host a gathering at my house! What are your typical go to recipes when you host a party? For me of course it's a cheese platter! Platters are great because almost anything can go on them and they can be tailored to ANY theme. You can make them with fruit, crudité, cookies, crackers, tacos, anything!

That is one of the best parts about Grazing Haus Platters - they are made to order, allowing them to be customized to your liking! This platter is 10/10 custom, even the platter was my clients she dropped off! When she told me they are a big Italian family I immediately thought "there must be bruschetta & mozzarella on the platter". Cliche? Maybe, but are they crowdpleasers? ABSOLUTELY!

Let me tell you - I was right :)

That very night I received a text saying "everyone loved the platter it was a hit, the bruschetta was everyone's favorite, thank you for making this so easy!". So with hosting on my mind I thought it would be perfect to share my bruschetta recipe for you to make at home.

Ingredients:

  • 4 Roma Tomatoes

  • 1/8 c Chopped Fresh Basil

  • 1/4 c Fresh Grated Parmesan

  • 1/2 tsp olive oil

  • Pinch of Salt

  • Fresh Cracked Pepper

  • 1 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar

  • 2 Cloves Minced Garlic

  • Fresh Baguette

Bruschetta Recipe:

Makes About 4-5 Cups of Bruschetta - feel free to double this crowd pleasing recipe

1. Dice tomatoes into small bite size pieces, mince garlic, and chop basil - combine into a bowl

2. Add Balsamic Vinegar, Oil, Salt, and Pepper

3. Grate parmesan directly on top of the bowl - fresh really is the best! I use this fun cheese grater

4. Mix all ingredients together - let sit for 20-30 minutes to marinate

5. Serve on toasted baguette slices

Tips: there can never bee too much parmesan, and you can always add a dash of balsamic and never go wrong.
