Brunch: Mango Lassi Smoothie Bowl & Bubbles

Hosting brunch is one of my favorite things to do. Wether it's just Jeremy and I or a girls afternoon, I love any reason to relax, sip champagne, and live on a Sunday.

One of the items featured on Grazing Haus boards are the mini smoothie bowls that come on the bubbles and brunch board! I wanted to share the recipe for you to make at home yourself. The first thing that I would recommend is to make sure you have a good blender. After having made these a few times I realized an investment in a good blender is something I need to do not just for Grazing Haus but for my own home cooking.

I decided to invest in the Vitamix - but I found one at my local Costco and it helped save me $100.

The yogurt is super easy to make and you can customize it to your liking - you can sub in any frozen fruit like strawberries or a berry medley.

Another thing I learned - do not add any liquid to your mixture - once the ice melts with the added liquid the yogurt will turn to soup and you'll need to serve with straws versus spoons! Anyways here you go the infamous Mango Yogurt bowl recipe.

Mango Yogurt:

Ingredients

  • Heaping 2 cups of frozen mango chunks

  • 2 cups plain greek yogurt

  • Granola of choice

  • Optional Sweeteners - pitted Medjool dates, honey, or maple syrup

Serve these in small ramekins or bowls - pictured here is a creme brûlée bowl from Crate & Barrel approximately 8 oz.

Makes 4 servings.
